Technology Submission Management

Directed Outbound Search
When you need a specific technology that is not available in-house or through your current vendor list. Evergreen IP will identify and contact companies that may have the technology that you need. At the initial stages, we can do this without revealing your company as the source of the inquiry. Evergreen IP evaluates their technology relative to your requirements, and sends you a short list of qualified candidates.
Legal Firewall
Engaging with externally-developed technologies creates exposure to legal potential legal liabilities, such as IP contamination and nuisance lawsuits. As a trusted 3rd party, Evergreen IP can engage with external parties and ensure that information is shared in a way that protects our clients.
In particularly sensitive cases that require the evaluation of confidential information, Evergreen IP may even sign an NDA with a submitting company in order to evaluate their confidential information, compare it to our client’s confidential needs, and then make a recommendation to our client on how to proceed, without disclosing confidential information in either direction.
Retrospective Hunts
In order for a technology to be acquired by a client, timing is key. The technology needs to align with a currently budgeted priority or project. For every viable technology that lands in the correct time window, there are several more that are viable, but are not immediately actionable.
Evergreen IP keeps a record of every technology that is ever submitted. Priorities and projects change, over time, and when they do, Evergreen IP can search through items that were submitted in the past. A technology that may not have been a fit at the time it was submitted, may become highly relevant in the future.
